Position at Hartford-Jackson, LLC We are open to full-time and part time applicants.We are also open to hybrid or in-winery work location. POSITION SUMMARY : Primary responsibility will be focused on selling our limited production wines to our member base over the phone.This includes both wine club members and non-club members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES : Direct Sales : 85% of job
- Acquire commanding knowledge of wines, vineyards, winemaking, appellations, winery, and sense of place.
- Phone and Internet Outreach to Wine Club Members to provide information on events and tasting room experiences, to build customer rapport, update membership data, and to sell wine.
- Enter sales orders, ensuring orders are complete and accurate.
- Assist with implementation of programs to grow Wine Club membership and manage attrition rate.
- Communicate directly with all customers by Phone and Internet, as assigned by supervisors, to effectively sell and upsell wine, wine club membership, event participation, and related products.
- Assists with hosting customers in the Tasting Room as needed (fill-in or with particular customers where a relationship has been built)
Manage Complete Customer Database, Reporting, and Legal Compliance : 15% of Job
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
WAGE TRANSPARENCY : The base pay for this role ranges from $21.08 - $30.02 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location. BENEFITS :
