Service Coordinator

Jacksonville Marine at Doctors Lake Marina seeks an intelligent and energetic individual to provide great customer service to our visitors.

Candidates must be able to work as a team with all departments, including sales, parts, service, and accounting. Must be extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure. This position will interact on the frontline with customers regarding their boat purchase, parts, service, ship store merchandise, and boat rental reservations. Must be proficient in computer and mathematical skills.

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or above
• MUST have proficient computer skills and experience using Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Detail Oriented
• Team Player

*Boating and bookkeeping experience a plus but not required.*

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers
• Route phone calls to the appropriate person or departments
• Checks in service boats documenting customers needs.
• Communicate with customers throughout the service process - Daily updates as needed to customers (text, email, or phone)
• Take and relay messages
• Direct and log walk-in sales traffic
• Assist in shipping and receiving parts
• Assist in data input
• Cashier and stock ship store items
• Assist with boat rental reservations

This position works Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

*Benefits include paid healthcare, optional dental and optical insurance, as well as paid time off.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000 per year

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday (with a 1-hour lunch break)
