Jacobs & Jacobs is seeking a motivated and dependable Accounting Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
As an Accounting Assistant, you will begin with the following tasks, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as you grow in the role:
- Draft letters to clients and others using provided templates.
- Scan and electronically save documents for record-keeping.
- Input vendor invoices and prepare checks for payment.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Communicate professionally via phone and email on a daily basis.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the team and office operations.
Qualifications
- Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new data management software quickly.
- Honest, dependable, and a team player with a proactive attitude.
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with QuickBooks (primary software used).
- Bilingual (Spanish) is highly encouraged.
Additional Information
We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus, as it enhances communication with some of our clients.
