You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the accounting field.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and records.Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding financial transactions.Skills and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED.Proven experience in an accounting or finance role.Strong proficiency in Excel and QBO.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.High level of integrity and confidentiality.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with collaboration tools.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Who You AreDemonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Extremely tech savvy with the ability to pivot in new directions as the firm grows.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of accounting.We are less concerned with how many years of experience you have than we are with how many experiences you have gained and mastered during those years.
