What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Assistant position at Theory Real Estate?
Theory LLC is the parent company to several fun and energized businesses in Tacoma. Businesses include a real estate brokerage, property management, construction, real estate holdings, co-working spaces, an event venue, a restaurant, and escape rooms! With these exciting businesses comes a lot of accounting, systems, softwares, and processes. Theory is looking for someone with basic accounting knowledge that is eager to learn more about a variety of managerial accounting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transaction Categorizing & Data Entry
- Entering Bills
- Processing payments
- Process Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
- Track and update specific metrics
- Assist Financial Controller in reporting
- Email organization
- Auditing charges
- Other miscellaneous projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Entry level accounting knowledge
- Must be able to be in office during working hours. Our office is located at 5413 South Tacoma Way
- Experience with G-Suite, Quickbooks, Asana, Excel, Tripleseat, Square, Resova, Workforce, and Buildium are all appreciated but not required
- Must provide laptop and any other technology needed for job duties
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
