Your impact
Site Assistant Superintendent, responsible for overseeing field construction and maintenance teams, site logistics, materials handling, site maintenance, and ensuring a safe work environment. Will report to the Project Superintendents and assist them with daily reports, interaction with the subcontractors and inspectors, plant operators and security personnel. Coordination with Jacobs HSE management team to ensure the safety culture is maintained at every step of the process.
This applicant should be familiar with PLA agreements and understanding of building trade unions and be able to facilitate the Business Agents when they visit the site.

The base salary range for this position is $117,300.00 to $183,200.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Day to day responsibilities include
- Operating materials handling and maintenance equipment
- Directing and supervise a team of workers troubleshooting routine maintenance issues on the job site
- Maintaining equipment
- Assisting with materials management and logistics
- Materials and equipment receiving
- Read and understand the plans and specs
- Other duties as directed by the General Superintendent, Construction Manager and others.
Here's what you'll need
- At least 10 years of experience in construction and administration of large multimillion-dollar projects in water / wastewater
- Understanding of project scope, engineering drawings and specifications, and construction materials
- Proficient knowledge in scheduling and schedule logic
- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors in schedule development and execution of the work in the field
- Knowledge of pre-construction delivery with ability to provide constructability reviews as design progresses
- Experience in Alternative Project Delivery, including progressive design-build or design-build-operate
- The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to climb, stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery that includes high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, some defined confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals as you would come to expect in the water and wastewater design build industry
