Position Summary:
The Accounting has excellent organization and client communication skills and a real drive for serving clients. Our ideal candidate will have a fun-loving personality and will mesh with our team in both an independent and collaborative capacity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tracking projects on accountants’ desks to ensure deadlines are kept
- Be the point of contact for clients to ensure they get the information needed and minimize interruption of accountants work by avoiding them having to handle client communication.
- Providing our clients with excellent service by answering email and phone queries in a timely, courteous and professional manner
- Process outgoing mail and tax returns to ensure they are invoiced appropriately
- Generate contracts for our bookkeeping clients, prepare engagement letters for new clients, and prepare organizers for tax season
- Onboarding new clients. Getting them setup in our systems for an accountant to data enter their past returns
- Assist with client meetings by getting the preliminary information necessary for the accountant to efficiently proceed with any meeting
Minimum Requirements:
- Looking for someone not afraid of overtime because you'll be supporting a tax firm

- Deescalating situations with stressed out clients
- Manage utilization rates, billings, and field basic questions about the business
- Perform other administrative functions as needed
- You should be a self-starter with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills, with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
- Strong research skills and written & verbal communication skills, and a dedication to producing accurate, timely and complete work
- Ability to manage projects effectively and efficiently from start to finish
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding clients’ sensitive financial and personal information
- Ability to effectively interact with people with a diverse range of personalities, ages, and backgrounds
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
Software Proficiency Requirements:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) & G Suite
- Experience with UltraTax CS, Practice CS, Accounting CS and Onvio is highly desirable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
