What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Cashier and Admin Support position at Jake's Pet Supply?
Busy retail pet supply store in west Lake Worth is looking for an additional cashier with an administrative background in bookkeeping and other data-oriented work. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills during an interview:
· Organized & able to stay focused while there's lots of activity going on around them
· Ability to speak clearly and courteously with phone customers as well as face-to-face with customers in the store.
· Computer skills including Excel & QuickBooks (or willingness to learn)
· Enjoy dealing with customers as much as with spreadsheets
· Willingness to get involved in any aspect of the business (including pulling or checking delivery orders)
Cashier Responsibilities include:
· Interacting with customers as they check out
- Answering phone calls to take orders
- Helping to pull or check delivery orders,
- Coordinating delivery orders on paper and on the computer,
Administrative Responsibilities include:
· Reporting customer returns to suppliers
· Data Entry using Excel
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
