Purpose of this job: Office Administrator is responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. We are currently searching for an Excel-savvy office administrator to work onsite at our local Distribution Warehouse. This position will be an integral part of the success of the investment team by providing various administrative support functions as required by the team. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential. You will be fully engaged and busy from the first day and we guarantee there will never be a dull moment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the office supply inventory and ensuring that supplies are in line with office needs
- Ensuring all office equipment is working and properly maintained.
- Working with management team to set budgets, monitor spending, and processing payroll deductions and other expenses.
- Planning, scheduling, and promoting office events, including new hire onboarding, meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
- Assisting in the coordination of recruiting activities and events as needed
- Collecting, organizing, and storing information using computers and filing systems.
- Perform other duties commensurate with functional level responsibilities.
- Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Good mathematical skills and use of computer/ office equipment
- Knowledge of beverage market preferred
- Excellent multitasking, organization and project management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Team player with ability to work well with diverse populations
- Quick learner that grasps concepts and processes easily, and understands how they affect each other
- Detail oriented - accurately checks processes and tasks, discovers and corrects errors
- Must be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Clear background and drug test.
- Knowledge of the beverage market preferred.
- Good mathematical skills and computer skills.
- Knowledge of beverage market preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements:
- Repeatedly lifting 10-25 pounds including overhead.
- Ability to stand and walk frequently.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
