Summary
A U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese manufacturer of high-performance lubricating grease is seeking a Sales Representative to manage key accounts. The ideal candidate will support large companies and distributors, primarily in the automotive, robotics, and electrical machinery sectors, by offering technical and sales support for specialized lubrication products.
Essential Duties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with large corporate customers and distributors.
- Align local sales efforts with global strategies from Japan headquarters.
- Understand customer businesses and functions to offer tailored solutions.
- Provide technical support related to lubrication product applications.
- Collaborate with marketing to prepare technical documentation and value-added proposals.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Inside Sales Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Working Hours, Working style
- 08:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Full-time, Exempt
- Travel: 10–25%
- Hybrid work style (combination of office and remote work) available
- Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with internal/external teams.

Salary/Benefit

Qualifications
- 5 years of B2B sales experience in the machinery-related manufacturing industry, such as bearings or automotive parts
- Experience in value-added product sales
- Familiarity with Japanese business culture preferred

- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
