Job Title: Roofing Supervisor
Job Summary: The Roofing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing roofing installation, maintenance, and repair work for various projects. They lead a team of roofers, ensure that roofing projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. Pay based on experience, unemployment during off-season. Company vehicle and phone provided with clean driver license record.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of roofers and other laborers, providing direction, and support.
- Quality Control: Ensure all roofing work meets industry standards and company specifications. Inspect work at different stages of the project to ensure quality and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and regulations, ensuring that all workers use proper safety equipment and procedures.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients and office to report progress, address issues, and make necessary adjustments to work plans.
- Material & Equipment Management: Load up materials from shop, pick up will-call material orders with company truck and take to job site. Oversee the proper use of tools, equipment, and materials. Ensure that the team has the resources needed for efficient work.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Address any problems or issues that arise during roofing projects and maintain contact with Vern, providing solutions to ensure that work stays on schedule and within budget.
- Documentation & Reporting: Take jobsite photos and upload into CRM system, using company phone. Bring all receipts and material / job paperwork back to office in timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of experience in the roofing industry
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and installation methods
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to read plans
- License:
- Valid, clean driver's license
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in outdoor environments, lift heavy materials, and work at heights.
