Job Description
The Body Shop Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for greeting customers with a friendly face and warm smile. Acting as the front line point-of-contact for the collision center, they set the tone by being an outstanding listener and information source. In addition to appointment scheduling and communicating repair status, the coordinator performs administrative duties, creating repair orders, finalizing customer documents and collecting funds. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma/GED, working knowledge of the automotive industry, strong administrative and organizational skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meets and greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- Schedules appointments for repair
- Communicate status updates to customers
- Manages inbound telephone inquiries and routes calls accordingly
- Address customer questions and issues with appropriate department personnel
- Assists with problem resolution as required
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual is highly preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of automotive servicing/repair is helpful
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Excellent telephone skills
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- An impressive work ethic
- Genuinely helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
