JARS Cannabis Veg Cultivation Associate

JARS Cannabis is seeking an experienced and skilled Cannabis Veg Cultivation Associate to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for the cannabis industry and possess a proven track record in precision trimming, we want to hear from you. As a key member of our cultivation center, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high-quality standards that JARS Cannabis is known for.

PAY: $17/hour

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a cannabis trimmer in a commercial cultivation setting.
• Speed and Precision: Demonstrated ability to hand trim a minimum of 2 lbs of cannabis per day with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
• Compliance: Familiarity with and commitment to compliance with state regulations regarding cannabis cultivation.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changes in trimming methods, strains, and production schedules.
• Passion: Genuine passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to delivering top-quality products.
• Reliability: Consistent attendance and reliability are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all scheduled tasks in regard to the cultivation of the cannabis plant
• Assist with the cleaning and resetting of the Propagation areas
• Perform all other tasks involved with the Propagation of cannabis (ie. emitters, plant support, shaping mother plants, cutting/rooting clones, transplanting, etc..)
• Maintain cleanliness of the cultivation areas
• Support other departments with various projects as required
• Undertake any tasks necessary to ensure the overall health of the plants.
• Follow policies set by the AZDHS to ensure 100% compliance

In addition to the above general, and expanded, job descriptions, this position might include other possible work depending on the needs of the facility, and management. Any additional work given that is still reasonably within the scope of responsibilities should be treated as an extension of current job responsibilities, and performed as such. Management reserves the right to allocate additional, or subtract, workloads and responsibilities as needed, and as seen fit.
