Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of property management practices, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to conflict management and the ability to foster positive relationships with residents and staff alike.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Oversee tenant relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and documentation related to tenant applications, leases, and maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws, including Section 8 and LIHTC requirements.
- Utilize Yardi software for property management tasks, including tracking rent payments and managing tenant accounts.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to address repair requests efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving resident satisfaction and community engagement.
- Provide training and support for office staff in customer relationship management practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with Yardi software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC regulations, and Fair Housing laws is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills with an emphasis on effective communication and phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in an office setting is beneficial.
