Job Description
Jay Cee Solutions seeks skilled Floor Technicians to operate specialized equipment for stripping, buffing, polishing, and carpet extraction in federal office spaces.
Responsibilities
- Strip, wax, and refinish tile flooring
- Operate auto scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors
- Clean and extract carpets as required (quarterly or as needed)
- Maintain floor machines and follow manufacturer safety guidelines
- Perform other deep-cleaning tasks per the Statement of Work (SOW)
Requirements
- 2 years of floor care experience
- Experience working in hospitals, commercial buildings, or VA/DoD contracts
- Ability to lift equipment (up to 75 lbs)
- Must pass federal background check
Preferred
- Certification in Floor Care or Green Cleaning
- OSHA 10 or higher
- Experience with hospital-grade floor coatings
