Responsibilities

• Assist Chef with preparing and serving food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including answering questions and making recommendations.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service delivery during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Food Handlers Certificate is a plus, but must have within 30 days of hire.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed are essential for success in this role.
