Snowmaking Electrical Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled Snowmaking Electrical Expert to join our team at Jay Peak Resort. The ideal candidate will possess excellent electrical knowledge and experience in ski lift maintenance, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of ski lift electrical operation and controls
- Demonstrate familiarity with analog, digital, and PLC controls interfacing low and high voltage systems to operate ski lifts and snowmaking systems
- Diagnose, repair, and provide maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
- Operate a snowmobile safely and respond to stopped lift issues quickly and efficiently in all types of weather conditions
Requirements:
- Four years in an apprentice program and 4000 hours of work experience in the electrical field or approved equivalent
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Valid Vermont State Journeyman's License
