What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Administrator/Manager position at JBL Tax and Accounting Services?
Must be personally and professionally motivated with excellent references. You will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Payroll: Processing payroll transactions, including salary, taxes, deductions, and reimbursements
- Benefits: Administering benefits programs, such as health and wellness, and educating employees on their options
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies
- Reporting: Preparing regular and ad hoc reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate records for payroll, taxes, unemployment, and other matters
- Onboarding and offboarding: Managing employee on-boarding and off-boarding activities
- Communication: Answering payroll-related questions, resolving issues, and making corrections
- Auditing: Liaising with auditors and managing interdisciplinary audits
- Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues in the People Team and Finance Team
You will need to work with accounts and tax professionals, providing them information as needed to perform monthly and annual reconciliations and tax returns.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Commission
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 55 per week
