Description
- Oversee all new barn construction projects.
- Manage all facility and ventilation aspects of new barn construction.
- Manage prints and spec books for each year of new construction and requirements for existing facilities.
- Help layout and make sure sites meet our standards.
- Set up controllers, alarms, complete barn start-ups and punch-lists.
- Manage, track, and forecast completion dates for each project.
- Manage supplier and builder relationships.
- Train production staff and producers on ventilation and facility material
- Evaluate and test new products to be put in grow-finish barns – new feeders, controllers, etc.
- Provide field support as well as phone support for ventilation, facility, and product issues.
- Interview and help determine whom we should build new barns for, including existing growers or new potential growers.
- Apply for rebates on new barn equipment with energy suppliers.
- Help assess existing sites for upgrades and new requirements.
- Design and calculate ventilation for new and existing spaces.
- Input barn data into Mtech database.
- Attend township meetings to assist in permitting roads and barn sites.
- Other related tasks, as assigned by the manager.
- Other duties as required.
- 2-5 years in related Construction Industry or Live Production required. Related education may be substituted for experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Excellent organizational skills required
- Ability to travel as required.
- Agricultural building experience preferred
- Live Production experience preferred
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

- Base salary range of $60,000-78,781;
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s Trimester bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
