We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our maintenance team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To know, enforce, and communicate company policies and procedures. Have the ability to learn, lead and implement change.
Responsible for administrative duties and tasks to assure efficiency and proper operation of JCM's wide variety of equipment.
Oversees and works alongside maintenance staff that performs maintenance service and repairs to complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
Implements standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness.
Develops and manages facility maintenance charts, written PM schedules, activities and services for documenting costs, budgets and efficiency reports.
Coordinates resources for troubleshooting equipment repairs.
Develops, prepares and recommends plans, specifications and cost estimates for equipment maintenance, operation and repair.
Answers emergency calls as required and be available to help repair breakdowns in the facilities.
Attends and participates in facility and maintenance staff meetings as required.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Attends and participates in workshops, conferences, and classes to increase professional knowledge and decrease outsourced PMs through contractors.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Meets with staff to identify and resolve problems and monitor workflow as necessary to ensure optimal capacity.
Trains, coaches, and educates workers in best practices and safety procedures.
Planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding & disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Experience:
Previous experience in maintenance, preferred five - seven years related experience and/or training.
Prior management and supervisory experience or other leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office software.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
