Maintenance Supervisor

Cornerstone Retirement Community is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor.   Reporting to the Physical Plant Director, this position will be responsible for handling work orders, identifying and performing preventative maintenance, and in general ensuring the property is safe, well maintained, and attractive. Typical work schedule is M-F.   While rare, occasional weekend or evening emergencies may require your attention (on-call duty occurs approximately every 4 weeks).

Required Qualifications of the Successful Candidate:

• Education/Certification/Licensure: High School or equivalent, including or supplemented by some trade school or vocational training, is desirable.
• Training and Experience: Prefer two years of leadership experience. Minimum of one year of previous service as a fully qualified maintenance technician required.

Job Knowledge:

• Knowledge/ability to learn computer skills.
• Must be familiar with building maintenance and experience in all trade areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating/air conditioning, etc.
