**Job Overview:**
We seek an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist or HR Coordinator to join our team. The position will require being able to help out in multiple departments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong background in accounting principles. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of the company.
**Duties:**
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Verify approvals on all invoices and check requests
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Maintain accurate records and files of invoices and payments
- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Quick Books or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with Human Resources functions such as employee evaluation, human capital management, employee relations, HR sourcing
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Understanding of contract management
