Job Description
JCW is seeking an experienced Commercial Credit Manager to oversee its credit underwriting team and drive sound underwriting practices. This role reports directly to the Chief Credit Officer and involves managing a team of credit analysts, reviewing credit proposals, and collaborating with other departments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of credit analysts to drive commercial lending underwriting processes.
- Analyze and structure credit proposals to guarantee compliance with bank credit policies and regulations.
- Work closely with relationship managers and executive staff to facilitate loan origination and portfolio management.
- Assess and mitigate credit risk across different sectors and lending models, offering expert advice on intricate credit decisions.
- Develop and implement efficient underwriting policies and procedures to optimize risk management.
- Present detailed credit performance data to senior management regularly.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial credit roles within a banking setting.
- A proven track record of leading credit underwriting teams and assessing credit risks.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lending principles, financial statement analysis, and regulatory compliance.
