Job Summary: Jeff Brown Yachts is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to manage our front desk and handle a range of administrative and clerical responsibilities. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for clients and visitors.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing administrative support across the organization, greeting guests, and coordinating front-desk activities such as handling correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and professionally greet visitors, directing them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Provide information about the yacht brokerage services and current listings.
  • Ensure the reception area maintains a clean, organized, and professional appearance.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, directing them to the relevant yacht broker or staff member.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Schedule appointments for clients and brokers, managing calendars efficiently, including rescheduling and sending reminders.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Prepare and maintain client files, ensuring all necessary documentation is up to date.
  • Assist with basic marketing tasks, such as updating website listings and preparing marketing materials.
  • Provide potential clients with preliminary information about available yachts.
  • Coordinate yacht viewings and tours with brokers and clients.
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals and presentations as needed.
  • Maintain office supplies and monitor inventory levels.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and repair requests.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure smooth communication flow.

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of the luxury yacht market and industry standards

Work Environment: The receptionist will work in a professional office environment. This position may require occasional overtime to meet deadlines or to assist with special projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.75 - $22.51 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
