Job Title: Quality Inspector

Supervisor/Manager Title: Director, Quality Assurance

Job Description Summary: Responsible for supporting the Quality department with quality control activities related to receiving inspection and supplier reviews for conformance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support all Receiving Inspections tasks- mechanical, visual, and functional inspection of components.
• Maintain and file inspection reports/records.
• Maintain the inspection area in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Comply with all relevant quality management system policies and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of corrective actions for nonconformance.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• A high school degree is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience on the job technical training in Quality Control or experience working within a quality management system in a highly regulated industry.
• Must be able to work effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to effectively articulate (verbally and in writing) results and conclusions to technical and non-technical personnel.
• Must have good documentation skills
• Must take initiative and have the ability to conduct hands-on work.
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail.

Skills and Abilities Required for This Job:
