Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and attracting top engineering talent to support our company’s growth and project needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical roles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers to understand job requirements, technical qualifications, and other criteria for open positions.
- Assist with the development and implementation of effective sourcing strategies to identify qualified engineering candidates, including leveraging job boards, professional networks, and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams and provide timely updates to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or other databases.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Assist in creating and posting job advertisements on appropriate platforms.
- Support employer branding initiatives by promoting the company as a top workplace for engineering professionals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in technical recruiting.
Required Skills & Abilities:

- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in engineering or technical fields.
- Strong understanding of engineering disciplines and technical terminology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Familiarity with labor laws and hiring best practices.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of three years’ experience recruiting for technology or engineering.
- An Associate’s degree in Business or Human Resources is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Days of work are Monday through Friday, with hybrid arrangement possibility after period of performance with exemplary achievement. Flexible, approximately 20-25 hours per week, with the ability to adjust based on recruiting demand
