Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is looking for a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Finance and Accounting team. This role will report directly to the Controller and be based in Columbus. We are looking for a self-motivated problem solver with a mind for continuous improvement and the ability to take a project and run with it. The ideal candidate will be eager to quickly make a contribution, and grow their career where there is big-company learning exposure in a home-town atmosphere.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the annual budgeting process and coordinate with different departments to develop a consolidated budget, including capital expenditure planning
Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans by providing financial projections and scenario analysis
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions (e.g., promotions, investments)
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
10-12 combined years of related experience in FP&A, accounting and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
CPA Preferred
