Position: Event Manager - Jenks Trojan Hoops
Reports to: Jenks Trojan Hoops Coordinator
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with players, parents and coaches.
- Ability to represent Jenks Public Schools and Jenks Community Education with integrity and respect.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: To monitor and maintain a safe and positive environment for coaches, players and parents during Jenks Trojan Hoops events.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Monitor Trojan Hoops teams during practices at designated sites.
- Monitor school sites to make sure Trojan Hoops participants are not in unapproved areas.
- Monitor on site school equipment (white boards, signs, etc.) to ensure they are not damaged or altered.
- Handle any questions at school sites regarding courts and practice times and notify the Trojan Hoops coordinator if needed.
- Clean up any spills on and near the basketball courts to ensure safety.
- Notify the Trojan Hoops coordinator of problems in a timely manner.
