Principal, Research Analyst (Global Equity – Emerging Markets)

Our Function
This position will support the Emerging Markets research team and will be responsible for coverage of growth-oriented companies with a focus on Asia region and/or multiple sectors. Coverage will evolve depending upon interest and team needs.
Your Impact
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Research and recommend new stock ideas for inclusion in the portfolios
- Understand, analyze, and communicate industry trends
- Advanced Financial Modeling – build and update financial models
- Interview Management teams both in the office and at industry conferences
- Maintain strong relationships with industry experts and sell-side analysts
Your Required Skills
Your required skills must include:
- Proven experience covering emerging market growth stocks in Asian region
- 7 years of relevant experience as an Analyst/Associate
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience covering the Asian region/multiple sectors
- Foreign language skills a plus
- Frequent International Travel
- Ability to distill investment thesis and associated risks down to most impactful factors
- Expertise working with Bloomberg and Excel
- Extremely strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, high level of initiative and interpersonal skills
- Deep rooted passion for stocks

The base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. Individual salaries for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, years of experience, range in corporate level, candidate skills, and geographic location. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
