Welder/ Fabricator

Shift: First/Day

Hours: 6:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Thursday

Location: Brunswick, GA

Bringing an unparalleled skill-level to custom projects, our Fabricator is someone who can fit and weld using a variety of processes and equipment to mil-spec precision. Your superior craft is vital to upholding Jered’s reputation for high quality products for our Naval and Maritime customers.

Success Criteria

Work with your hands daily, in nearly every aspect of welding. Crack open your tool box of experience and perform layout, weldment preparations, cutting, and other welding tasks.

You'll get support and direction from the manufacturing supervisor, as you manage your daily workload and take on new projects. Learn from experienced teammates, and work together to transform various metals (carbon, steel, nickel, and aluminum) into structural machinery.

Your path to success will be easier if you can read blueprints/engineering drawings, know how to layout and measure projects, and can effortlessly complete Gas Metal Arc Welding, (GMAW), Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW), and shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
