What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casino Count Team Member (Part time) position at Jerry's Nugget Casino?
This is a very physical job. Employees are required to lift, push, and move heavy bags and carts up to 75 lbs.
This is a part time position. Shift start is 4am. Team members are allowed to leave when work is completed, working approximately 6 hours/day, but paid for an 8 hour day.
Job Summary:
Count, verify, and record cash, coin, gaming chips, and tickets from gaming operations in accordance to Gaming Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
· Count, roll and tag bags for fills
·· Weigh, count, wrap and record slot drop
· Sort, count and record contents of table game drop boxes
· Transfer coin from hard count room to coin storage room
Work Environment:
· Must be willing to work any shift when necessary, including weekends and holidays
· Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke
Job Requirements:
· Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
· Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
· Must have Gaming Registration or ability to obtain same
· Previous money handling experience preferred
· Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
· Must have basic computer skills
· Must be at least 21 years of age
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
· Must have manual dexterity in hands and fingers
· Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs
· Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, and reach
