Salary: $50,000-$55,000 commensurate with experience and language skills

About the Role
The Workforce Development Program Coordinator will assist in the smooth operation of our workforce development programs as the programmatic options expand. This role involves understanding existing programming, creating systems for efficiency, helping to bridge siloed departments, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive impactful outcomes.
This role focuses on maintaining high-quality programming rather than creating new programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
ResponsibilitiesProgram Coordination- Provide project management support to workforce development programs and oversee day-to-day operations
- Plan, develop, and implement adult education programs, including ESL, Nursing Aid, workforce development, and other specialized courses.
- Strengthen existing programming pipelines, ensuring smooth transitions for participants from training to employment opportunities.
- Co-Develop systems to improve efficiency and reduce silos between workforce development and adult education teams alongside the Director of Adult Education
- Supporting monitoring and evaluating program performance, using data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to retain students and support their success.
- Address student concerns and connect them with additional resources, as needed.
- Collaborate with instructors to develop and update curriculum aligned with learner needs and program objectives.
- Provide ongoing professional development tailored to adult education best practices and emerging instructional needs.
- Facilitate regular meetings with instructors to discuss program updates, share resources, and address challenges.
- Maintain accurate program data, including enrollment and outcomes tracking, to support reporting requirements.
- Actively engage in team collaboration, resource sharing, and streamlined communication.
- Support the transition of responsibilities as the current director pursues part-time education, ensuring no gaps in programming.
- Provide operational support to other staff, on an as needed basis (no supervisory responsibilities)
- 2 or more years of experience in program and/or project management, or nonprofit operations.
- Strong project management skills or organizational skills, with the ability to organize multiple priorities and manage existing programs efficiently.
- Proven ability to create systems and processes to streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with partners and staff.

- Passion for working with immigrants is important to the role
- Proficiency in Haitian Creole highly preferred, reflecting the needs of the community served.

- Ability to navigate organizational restructuring and support departmental alignment.
- Salary: $50,000-55,000
