JET The Agency, a premier event production and trade show exhibit company based in Las Vegas, is rapidly expanding and seeking a Production Manager to oversee our Event Production and Trade Show Fabrication department. We have a dedicated, high-performing team that works well together, and we're looking for a strong leader to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our woodshop, coordinating event rentals, staffing, overseeing outside labor, managing vendor relationships and procurement, tracking expenses, scheduling projects, overseeing event and trade show installation & dismantle (I&D), handling logistics, and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the event and trade show industry, with a strong background in production management, logistics, and hands-on fabrication. - Oversee daily woodshop and warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Manage and coordinate woodshop and warehouse teams, along with contracted labor.
- Assess project needs and determine requirements for detailed and setup drawings, working closely with the Detailing department.
- Maintain and track woodshop inventory, consumables, and furniture rental inventory, ensuring accurate scheduling.
- Procure and manage vendor relationships, including negotiating with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Optimize warehouse logistics, transportation, and customer service for seamless operations.
- Oversee inventory and equipment orders, ensuring timely procurement and availability.
- Track and report on final product shipments, costs, and timelines, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Generate and present detailed reports for upper management, providing key insights and updates.
- Prioritize, direct, and oversee project completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Manage show service requirements, including scheduling, logistics, and on-site execution.
- Maintain and coordinate the shop and event schedule, optimizing preparation and build timelines.
- Lead and oversee teams and vendors on-site for trade shows and events.
- Write and manage purchase orders for direct materials.
- Monitor and control project budgets and deadlines, ensuring financial and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the on-site lead for large projects, including booth installations and event builds.
- Assist estimators with project-based cost estimates as needed.
- Travel as required (sparingly, less than 5% of the time).
