Position Summary
The Crew Staffing Analyst collects, maintains and analyzes historical data, conducts studies and prepares reports for recommended use in the forecasting of crew staffing requirements, crew budgets, statistics and system base staffing. The highest level of customer service is essential while coordinating with other departments and communicating with Crewmembers. The analyst may be called upon to be the backup on behalf of other Sr. Analysts.
Essential Responsibilities
- Support Crew Staffing Sr. Analysts in cross-departmental collaboration to gain insights into the utilization of Flight/Inflight Crews
- Responsible for maintaining Flight/Inflight Offline list
- Prepare and analyze historic crew utilization and productivity statistics to forecast system staffing and budget through collaboration with Operations Planning & Analysis , Flight and Inflight Leadership and Schedule Planning based on projected aircraft utilization
- Prepare reports summarizing Crewmember related stats, such as utilization and productivity
- Provide support for determining base staffing requirements, manage bid award process and coordinate training requirements
- Recommend work rule changes to increase productivity and reduce cost based on historic data trends
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- One (1) year of experience in operational planning and/or scheduling
- Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- One (1) year analytical experience in statistics and spreadsheet development
- Knowledge of Crew Planning/Scheduling Software, such as Crew Trac, and FLiCA,
- Ability to collect, analyze and forecast data for planning, statistical and budgetary proposals
- Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
