Our client in Lancaster is seeking a personable and adaptable HR Coordinator to join their dynamic HR team of six, offering a competitive salary of $55,000 - $62,000. This hybrid opportunity reports directly to the HR Manager and emphasizes the importance of personality, teamwork, and proactive recruiting in fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be a strong recruiter, skilled in sourcing candidates, and have a solid foundation in HR fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment process for case managers, proactively sourcing candidates rather than waiting for applicants. Experience using really is required.
- Identify and address retention needs within the organization.
- Oversee unemployment and compensation claims and conduct employment verifications.
- Provide backup support to the HRIS Specialist, assisting with onboarding processes. Experience with Sage HRIS is preferred.
- Support various general HR functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in HR or human services.
- Proven recruiting experience, especially in proactive sourcing.
- Proficiency in really and other applicant tracking systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of HR laws, unemployment processes, and employment classifications (exempt vs. non-exempt).
- HRIS experience (Sage preferred) is a plus.
