Under the direction of the QA Supervisor, perform product and other sample analysis, sample collection, sample storage, instrument calibration, data entry, and maintain the lab in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Calibrate laboratory instruments following written procedures.
• Perform physical and chemical analysis of product following written procedures.
• Perform other analysis following written procedures.
• Inspect product labels.
• Collect pomace and juice samples from locations within the plant.
• Store samples in the cold room.
• Review lab data generated and report unusual conditions.
• Computer data entry.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

• High school diploma/GED or related experience.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Physical Demands:

• Perform physical activity that requires use of arms and legs; including climbing stairs, bending, lifting.
• Must be able to stand for entire shift; up to 12- hours.
• Must walk up/down 35-feet of stairs several times a shift.
• Lift 15-lbs overhead several times per shift.

Work Environment:

• Most work is inside an air-conditioned lab; however occasional exposure to hot, wet, humid, dry, or windy conditions is required.
• Exposure to high level of noise outside of the lab.

• Responsible for correcting/reporting unsafe behaviors or equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
