Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Assistant will primarily be responsible for providing support to Quality Control, Quality Assurance, cGMP, HACCP, and other administrative tasks as required. Reports to the Quality Assurance Technician and cGMP compliance.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Assist with Quality Assurance tasks which include revising, writing, and formatting Quality Assurance documentation, including procedures and forms.
- Assist in sampling and testing.
- Maintain lab equipment and materials in a clean, organized fashion.
- Maintain all records and logs in a clear and organized manner.
- Review and understand regulations for audits, compliance, and implementation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- B.S. degree or equivalent from a college or technical school with a major in chemistry/biology.
- Experience in QA, cGMP, and HACCP compliances, internal audits, and incoming inspections.
- Experience in laboratory procedures and handling analytical instruments.
- One year of related experience in the chemical/biological manufacturing industry.
Preferred Skills:
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Familiar with analytical equipment and techniques.
- Professional written and verbal communication with the ability to tailor to changes.
- Effective in a "one team" work environment yet able to work independently.
- Positive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
