First Assistant Store Manager

Duties:

- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Sell products and achieve sales targets
- Supervise and train store staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Store Manager for replenishment
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and reconciling sales transactions
- Assist in employee orientation and training programs
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Skills:

- Sales: Ability to effectively sell products and meet sales targets
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to supervise and motivate store staff
- Retail Math: Proficient in basic math calculations related to retail operations, such as calculating discounts, profit margins, and sales figures
- Retail Management: Knowledge of retail management principles and practices
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and vendors
- Supervising: Experience in supervising employees and managing their performance
- Cash Register: Familiarity with cash register operations, including handling cash, processing transactions, and reconciling sales
- Math: Strong mathematical skills for inventory management and financial calculations

Pay: $12.50 - $14.62 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
