Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient management of outbound shipments, collaborating closely with carriers and customers to resolve scheduling issues and ensure accurate dock scheduling.
This role partners with Customer Care to meet order requirements and resolve shipping issues. The Logistics Coordinator provides backup support for key roles, including Customer Care, Warehouse Clerk, and Quality Technicians during vacations.
This position is required to be onsite at the Marble Falls, TX plant.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates with carriers and customers on outbound shipments, ensuring accurate dock scheduling and resolving any scheduling discrepancies.
- Coordinates with Huber’s customer carriers to address and resolve scheduling issues promptly.
- Supports inbound shipments by coordinating logistics and addressing any delivery challenges.
- Partners with customer care to address order requirements and resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
- Provides backup coverage for the sites Customer Care role, Warehouse Clerk, and Quality Technician during vacation or absences.
- Serves as the point of contact for any EHS&S-related administrative tasks during the absence of the EHS&S representative when they travel to other Huber sites.
- Assists Quality Technicians in resolving inventory issues and makes appropriate corrections to shipping documents as necessary.
- Completes ERP system transactions (post goods transaction, releasing shipments, releasing inventory, etc.) to ensure correct inventory movements and completion of shipments.
- Completes month-end inventory reconciliation reports to ensure accurate financial and inventory data.
- Files and organizes all shipping and inventory documentation in compliance with company procedures.
- Monitors and documents finished goods analyses in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and take appropriate actions to address any discrepancies or issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; manufacturing related experience is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret operational, technical, logistical data.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to effectively use current computer programs
