Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Accounts Payable Support. This role provides essential assistance to the Accounts Payable team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and credit card statements while maintaining proper documentation and supporting financial audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with invoice matching, purchase order verification, and discrepancy resolution.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment schedules and inquiries.
- Prepare and assemble invoice packages for payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
- Maintain vendor records, including tax forms, contracts, and payment documentation.
- Support 1099 tax reporting and assist with financial audits.
- Organize and manage records retention and document storage.
- Provide general administrative support to the Accounts Payable team, Financial Controller, and CFO.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma required; college coursework in accounting preferred.
- Experience: 1 year of clerical, administrative, or accounting-related experience (internships or relevant coursework accepted).

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to type 60-65 words per minute and use 10-key by touch.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Office-based role with occasional movement around campus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs as needed.
- Frequent computer use and filing responsibilities.
