Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS, updating information as necessary to reflect changes in employment status, pay rates, and benefits.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including wages, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up to date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist with payroll audits and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, HR Payroll Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in ADP and MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
