LPN

Our client in Middletown, CT is currently seeking LPNs to join their team.

Pay rate : $30 - $35/hr

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to patients according to established nursing procedures and protocols, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately, including oral, intramuscular, and intravenous medications.
• Monitor patient vital signs, observe changes in health status, and report significant findings to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records, documenting vital signs, treatments, and changes in condition.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families about disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Work closely with doctors, RNs, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

• Licensing: Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Skills: Proficient in basic nursing skills, including medication administration, patient monitoring, and documentation.
• Compassion: A strong passion for providing high-quality patient care and the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
