MARC Community Resources, a non-profit organization serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Day Services Program in Middletown. The LPN will follow agency policies and participate in related goals and plans, which promote inclusion as well as social and emotional growth for the individuals we support. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the health, well-being, and development of individuals we serve and works in conjunction with other staff members to provide the best possible care for all individuals. Supports the MARC mission, vision, and guiding principles. Must have trach care experience.
- Valid CT LPN License
- Valid CT Driver’s License
- Typically, 1-3 years on the job experience. Experience working with individuals with ID/DD and physical disabilities exhibiting challenging medical, physical, and behavioral needs required for some programs. Will train individuals with a genuine commitment and interest in working with adults with ID/DD.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule; including different programs as needed.
- Have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification, as required.
