Job Description
The Vice President of Finance is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial management of the organization. This includes managing the accounting and financial functions, ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations, preparing and managing budgets, managing financial reports and documents, performing financial risk assessments and internal/external auditing, assisting with corporate financial decisions, and supervising staff.
This role requires a high level of expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading cross-functional teams, developing and implementing financial strategies, and driving business growth through data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting functions of the organization, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Develop and implement financial plans, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Perform financial risk assessments and internal audits to identify areas for improvement
- Assist with corporate financial decisions, including strategic planning, capital investments, and contract negotiations
- Supervise and develop staff, including the Accounting Manager and Purchasing Administrator
