Job Description
The Guest Experience Manager is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the store team in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience. This role supports the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of running a convenience store location, including quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching team members.
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, including quality control, merchandising, and safety programs.
- Overseeing quality control, merchandising, & food safety programs in locations that offer hot food.
- Maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of both interior and exterior of the store.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 1 year retail or food experience.
- ServSafe/Food Safety certification (a plus but not mandatory).
- A willingness to give extra effort to help others.
- Computer skills are helpful.
