About this Role
The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for AMD's SOCs, resulting in no bugs in the final design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, hardware, and firmware engineers to understand the new features to be verified.
- Work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design defects and correct test issues.
- Have extensive experience in conducting multiple SoC tape-outs from initial design to the first boot.
- Be proficient in developing and using UVM based verification frameworks and testbenches, processes and flows in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Have experienced with Assembly, Verilog, System Verilog, C.
- Have deep programming skills in C , preferably on Linux with exposure to Windows platform.
- Have a good understanding and hands-on experience in the UVM concepts and SystemVerilog language.
- Have scripting language experience; Perl, Ruby, Makefile, shell preferred.
Desirable Assets:
- Prior exposure to video codec system or other multimedia solutions.
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor's, Master, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or relevant fields.
