About the Opportunity
The YMCA Alliance of Northern New England is seeking a highly skilled and experienced executive to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer. This is an exceptional opportunity for a leader who can guide the organization's efforts to strengthen local YMCAs and expand their impact within the communities they serve.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team providing strategic services to YMCA member organizations, including strategic planning, board development, and governance.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan that addresses the needs of the Ys in the Alliance and includes defined organizational strategies, implementation plans, and measurable goals.
- Elevate and advance the Alliance's advocacy efforts, working in partnership with all Ys in the Alliance on critical state, regional, and federal issues.
- Serve as an ambassador for the mission, purpose, and vision of the Alliance, positioning it and member Ys as vital partners for community and statewide change.
Required Qualifications:
- An accredited 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a senior management role with a YMCA or related experience at a comparable organization.
- Proven track record of budgetary and fiscal management.
