Job Description
As Sr. Director/Executive Director, Market Access, you will lead our team in building coverage for our ADHD products. This role requires significant travel, with 40-60% of time away from the office.
- Develop market access strategy and improve formulary coverage for our ADHD product portfolio by collaborating with the CCO and Commercial team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and Medical to ensure Market Access strategy aligns with our strategic plans.
- Lead execution of Payer strategy to improve coverage of our products and maximize profitability.
- Understand competitive market dynamics and work with GPOs to establish contracts that support discussions with Payers.
- Develop and present analyses of financial impact of pricing and contracting proposals to gain internal alignment and approvals.
- Establish business partnerships with external partners and stakeholders at key accounts, including executive management and decision makers at GPOs, PBMs, and Commercial and State Medicaid Plans.
- Develop and evaluate contracting models to improve availability of our products while ensuring affordability for customers and profitability for us.
- Identify and bring Patient Support models to market to enhance the total customer service experience for Physicians and Patients.
- Support New Products team in establishing Market Access strategy for our new Pain therapy with Phase 3 data for Acute pain.
- Monitor and adjust strategies based on developments in the competitive environment and regulatory or legislative changes.
Requirements
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree AND minimum 10 years relevant national accounts, sales, payer marketing, and/or managed markets experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry.
- Excellent understanding of US Commercial and Government payer environment, payer market dynamics, payer marketing principles, and market access organization decision-making process.
- Proven track record of managing teams and building strong relationships with key decision makers.
- Proven record of high ethical values and healthcare compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to access, analyze, and present claims data.
- Working knowledge and experience working with Government/Tricare/DOD/VA.
- People management experience.
