Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice processing, 3-way match, and vendor payments.
- Maintain and update vendor application information.
- Prepare and process expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end procedures and income statements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- File statements and other accounting documents as required.
- Use email effectively for communication and coordination with internal departments and external vendors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Adhere to internal controls and company policies to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably A plus if its Automotive industry.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures.
- Experience in processing accounts payable, preparing expense reports, and performing data entry.
- Familiarity with 3-Way Match and vendor application processes.
- Ability to manage month-end procedures and generate income statements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively use email for professional correspondence.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
