Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of a busy case load, including but not limited to, traffic cases, criminal defense cases, and other related legal matters.
- Represent clients in court, making regular court appearances and providing passionate advocacy.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
- Develop and implement case strategies in consultation with clients and senior attorneys.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
- Collaborate with legal staff to ensure smooth case management and efficient office operations.
- Participate in trials, presenting evidence, and arguing cases persuasively.
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations, maintaining a high standard of ethics and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Traffic Attorney, Defense Lawyer, or in a similar role.
- Active member of the Wisconsin Bar.
- Proven trial experience and strong court appearance skills.
- Extensive knowledge of traffic laws, criminal laws, and criminal defense strategies.
- Exceptional advocacy skills and the ability to represent clients effectively.
- Excellent case management skills, with the ability to handle a high volume of cases.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
